Welcome to Indian Trail, North Carolina  In the town of Indian Trail, the atmosphere is one of quiet, real family living. It is a place of community groups, youth sports and weekend barbecues, where slow and steady residential growth doesn’t interfere with the standard of living. Currently, about 15,000 residents enjoy the quaint serenity of Indian Trail. The town is located less than 15 miles southwest of Charlotte, near Interstate 485, State Route 1009 and the Union/Mecklenburg County border.
